The notorious V-Day is upon us! No worries, I’m only here for the discount chocolate.
I was going to campaign for elephants again, but I decided against it. I’ve grown very (!) weary of Facebook, and I am still working on reducing my time and friend list there. I do still post something almost daily, as you can see if you’re following. I’m attempting to spend less time on Twitter as well. That reminds me, TAE received my postcard, and it will be on display in Myrtle Beach in early April. If you need any additional details, just give me a shout.
I won’t be able to attend. My health is a disaster, still, with no solution in sight. I do want to give a better medical update than that, and I will toward the end of the month. Rare Disease Day is the 29th, so perhaps that would be a good time to catch up. I’m grateful to the online friends who follow along and check on me when I post about episodes. I don’t take it for granted.
I’ve said on this blog a few times that I don’t post about my relationships with people here, and I’m proving that right now by not doing so. But, I will elaborate on my own feelings about relationships in general pretty soon. I want to make a change, but I’m still figuring out what and who that should involve. Of course, my #1 priority is staying alive to begin with, and it will continue to be my primary focus for obvious reasons.
I ran across this article the other day and thought it was a perfect time to share. I hope it empowers someone who has walked through the fire and survived. https://iheartintelligence.com/dear-ex-thank-you-for-making-me-realize-deserve-better
And I loved this tweet.
Enjoy Cupid Day if you celebrate. Otherwise, Happy Friday.
