I'm originally from Mississippi, and I'm still waiting to see what they decide. It's very close, and I'm hoping to see Hyde get her hide out of office. Publicly wishing she could bring back lynching picnics would have gotten her kicked out in a civilized society. Not in Dumbfuck, Mississippi! In fact, the current MS Sec of State, who I went to school with, called her his "best friend" and defended her statement. As far as I'm concerned, he can go, too. But don't be surprised when he runs for President. It has been his goal since childhood.
We have to be a better nation. It's going to take putting the right people in positions of power to do that. This is a step in the correct direction, but don't be fooled. There are plenty of Dems in Congress who are nothing more than a spineless butt in a seat. They are the reason I dropped my party affiliation. Their inaction in one of the most outrageous times in modern history is not okay.
Congressional Democrats, heed my words. We do not forgive Fascists. We do not protect predators. We do not negotiate with domestic terrorists. Sit on your pansy asses about what has been done to this country, and we will cancel you, too.
