Burger Week - Day 2: Classic Bacon Cheddar Melt

(Yes, I use a countertop electric burner. I dislike the range in my house.)
(Pro Tip: A plate helps to melt the cheese quickly so the burger doesn't burn.)

So simple, yet so wonderful. Wowzers.

Kaiser roll
5 oz (approx) ground round
Kosher salt to taste
Fresh cracked peppercorns to taste
Borden Mild Cheddar
Center cut bacon
Sliced red onion
Store-bought mayo and mustard
(PS - Add lettuce, tomato, and ketchup if you like)
